05 Ueno Ameyoko
(The market of Japanese)From JR Ueno station to Okachimachi-station, it is called the Ameyoko street.Ueno Ameyoko shotengai (Ueno Ameyoko street-market district) Ameyoko street-market is from JR Ueno Station to Okachimachi station. There are a lot of shops for about 600m, from Ueno station to Okachimachi station. You can find everything here, starting from clothes, bags, cosmetics, fresh fish, dried food and spices. It is also known as the traditional downtown street market and for reasonable price.

There is a Korean town called “kimuchi-yokocho” at southeast of Ueno station.
Not only there are Korean restaurants but also there are directly imported meat and vegetables too.
There are also kimchi stores, Korean markets, dress stores too.

07 Tokyo Skytree®
350-meter above ground, you can enjoy incredible and spectacular views out over the Kanto area through the observation decks.
Also, there are shopping mall, aquarium and planetarium and etc where you c an have fun at the Skytree town (the town where this tower is at ) -
08 Asakusa temple / Senso-ji
The oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo. You will first enter the famous Kaminarimon Gate, which is also known as Fu-raijinmon. Once you enter the gate, you will walk the street called Nakamise where a lot of traditional shops are. If you pass the temple, there is Gojyu-noto-(five-story pagoda). Fairs or markets like Hōzuki-ichi and Hagoita-ichi take place too. Approximately 30 million people annually visit the temple.*Hōzuki-ichi (Physalis alkekengi - Market )

10 Yanaka / Nezu /
Sendagi
Yanaka-ginza street shop district promoting association says that Yanaka, full of temples is the most "Shitamachi (downtown)" street shop district in Tokyo.
It is 3 minutes away from JR Nippori west exit.
If you go down the slope called "Yu-yake dan dan", you will reach this street shop district.
Nezu city and Sendagi city are also popular towns of “shitamachi(traditional areas of Japanese cities) ”like Yanaka.

Sentō is a type of Japanese communal bath house where customers pay for entrance.
There is a sento named Kotobuki-yu near our hotel.
Here is a public bath house where you can enjoy several baths.
The temperature of the bath water is about 40 celsius degree so little kids can also enjoy the bath too. -
